Terms of Service

The rules for using Tablio

Last updated: May 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Tablio mobile application ("Tablio", "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Tablio. Questions? Email admin@tablioapp.com.

2. Who Can Use Tablio

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Some venues (bars, nightclubs) are flagged 18+ and are hidden from users under 18.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

3. Account Types

Client accounts

Free to use. Browsing venues, menus, photos, and stories does not require an account. Creating an account additionally lets you leave reviews, save bookmarks, claim deals via in-app QR codes, and join community channels.

Business owner accounts

Lets you build and manage a venue profile (one venue per account), upload food and drink menus, post stories and deals, and message customers. Publishing requires admin approval and an active subscription or trial — see Section 4 below.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at admin@tablioapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Publishing Model for Business Owners

We believe in being transparent with the people who pay us. This section explains exactly how a venue gets — and stays — live on Tablio.

Free trial

Every newly approved business owner receives a 3-month free trial starting from the day their venue is first published. During the trial, your venue is fully live with all features. No payment information is required to start.

Admin approval — one human gate

The first time a venue is submitted for publishing, a Tablio administrator reviews it within 24 hours. We perform automated pre-screening (brand-name comparison against known trademarks, image safety detection, menu PDF validation) to speed up the queue, but a real person makes the final approve/reject decision.

This single human gate exists to protect the platform — and our paying business owners — against impersonation, trademark abuse, fake listings, competitor sabotage, and inappropriate content. We do not believe a healthy venue marketplace can be operated as a pure self-serve product.

If we reject your submission, we tell you why. You may fix the issue and resubmit. If a rejection is not your fault (for example, an automated brand-match flag for a venue you legitimately own), we refund the prorated subscription cost.

After the first approval

Menu freshness — 90-day requirement

To keep listings useful for customers, business owners must confirm or update their menus at least every 90 days. You will receive in-app and push reminders starting 10 days before the deadline. Failure to refresh menus after 90 days will automatically unpublish the venue until menus are updated.

Subscription pricing and payment

Subscription features are introduced in a future version of the app. When available:

Discount codes ("coupons")

From time to time, Tablio admins may issue discount codes. These codes grant a free time extension on your subscription (for example, "30 days free" or "1 month free") when applied during checkout. They do not change the headline price of any subscription tier. The list of codes shared with all business owners (versus codes shared individually) is at the discretion of Tablio.

If your subscription lapses

Your venue is unpublished but your account, menus, photos, reviews, and historical data are preserved. You can resubscribe at any time and your venue will be relisted — subject to a quick admin re-check if your menus have aged past 90 days.

5. User-Generated Content

Tablio allows users to post reviews, photos, videos, messages, deals, and stories ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by posting it you grant Tablio a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and promote it within the Service.

Prohibited content

You agree not to post content that is:

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly do so.

6. Business Owner Responsibilities

If you register as a business owner, you represent that:

We may verify your ownership and may suspend listings we believe to be fraudulent.

7. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews must reflect honest, firsthand experiences. We prohibit:

Venues may not offer rewards or discounts in exchange for positive reviews.

8. Community Channels and Messaging

Tablio offers city and country chat channels. Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, and spam will result in messages being removed and accounts suspended.

Direct messages between customers and businesses are for legitimate business inquiries only.

9. Deals and Promotions

Deals posted by venues are agreements between the customer and the venue, not Tablio. Tablio is not responsible for deals that are not honored, expired, or misrepresented at the venue.

Present the in-app QR code at the venue to redeem. Deals are subject to each venue's specific terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on Tablio not submitted by users (the Tablio name, logo, design, source code, features) is owned by Tablio and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without written permission.

11. Privacy

Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect and how we use it.

12. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app's Profile screen, or by filling out the form at tablioapp.com/delete-account. Account deletion is permanent and removes your profile, reviews, messages, stories, and all associated data within 30 days.

13. Service Availability

We provide Tablio "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tablio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or reputational harm.

Tablio is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of venues listed, food and drinks served, or experiences at venues.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tablio is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
